Larry Legend plans school supply giveaway Friday - Charleston Post Courier
Larry Legend’s DREAMS will hold its 10th annual free Back to School Supplies giveaway from 1-4 p. m. Friday at the A. W. Christopher City Gym, located at 65 Hagood Ave. The event is hosted by playground basketball star “Larry Legend” (Lawrence Gadsden), who grew up in the Bronx, N. Y. Gadsden now tries to mentor youth with his Larry Legend’s DREAMS, Inc. Gadsden will speak from 1:30-2 p. m. , and youth games with cheerleaders will take place from 2-3 p. m. The school supplies giveaway will be held from 3-4 p. m. Basketball South Carolina forward A’ja Wilson turned in another strong performance at...
