Philadelphia is the prime hub of all our favorite radio stations: Q102, Mix 106. 1, B101, 95. 7 Ben FM and many, many more. Although I’ve been inside a few of those stations, there’s nothing quite like sitting in on the “Preston & Steve Show” while visiting WMMR 93. 3. I had sat in on the show before and had a wonderful time. The “Preston & Steve” crew are extremely friendly and make every guest who comes in feel at home. They’re vibrant and talkative both on and off the air, but also very hard workers and good at what they do, or should I say, love. I watch, amazed, at all the equipment and how they maneuver easily from computer screen to computer screen. You’re probably wondering what happens off air. The crew continues to interact with guests and crack jokes, as well as discuss what will be happening after the commercial break. “It’s funny, I grew up with two brothers so I feel like they sort of prepped me for it, and it had,” Romano says. “A lot of the conversation is male-focused — fart jokes and all that kind of stuff — so you kind of have to learn to just go with the flow.
