Vehicle stop in Vallejo leads to three arrests - Vallejo Times Herald

Three people were arrested for possession of drugs and a stolen vehicle Tuesday afternoon, following a traffic stop, Vallejo police said. The three suspects were pulled over in the 900 block of Lincoln Road East in a 2001 white Mazda Protege at about 2:30 p. m. , with a license plate that did not belong to the vehicle, but was instead reported missing from a 2001 Honda. When officers ran the Vehicle Identification Number on the Protege, the vehicle was reported stolen from Contra Costa County as of May 2, officers said. When the vehicle was searched, police found a backpack on the floorboard that contained two Hydrocodone pills and five credit cards with different names on them, according to police. One woman, whose name was confirmed on one of the credit cards, was contacted and said the card was stolen from her vehicle in Vallejo, police said. Source: www.timesheraldonline.com
