New shops, food to remake Florida Mall - Orlando Sentinel
Those changes come along with new retailers. Crayola Store opened May 20 ahead of the July 1 opening of Crayola Experience, an interactive attraction. That space will be redeveloped into more retail stores. Publix, Walmart and a movie theater will anchor the new Hamlin shopping center in west Orange County, developers announced this week. The new 54,000-square- foot Publix Supermarket should open in summer 2016. The Walmart Supercenter will total 193,000-square-foot. High-end apparel has arrived at Orlando's Chanel boutique at Mall of Millenia for the first time. The Paris-based fashion brand has opened a remodeled store in a larger space at the mall, putting new product lines into a space that formerly focused mostly on handbags and accessories. The store is about 5,300 square feet, compared to the old 2,000-square-foot store. Olive Garden's new menu items.
