Premium Mercedes-Benz Genuine Car Cover, 1999 M-ClassRare Showroom Edition

• Chartreuse Green rip-stop nylon with rainproof grey treatment on opposite side

This rare M-Class product is a showroom car cover. It was designed to cover the M-Class in showrooms and may have been for the launch of the M-Class; it's from the era of the first-generation M-Class (1997-2005) and is designed to fit that vehicle. (One photo shows a tag with a handwritten number 2351, I imagine we made one or two covers for each dealership in the U.S. but that's all; you may not be able to find this cover in this new a condition anywhere else.)

I cannot guarantee this will fit the second-generation M-Class (2006-2011) but as you can see from the photos, it almost covers a 2014 Toyota 4Runner, which is approximately 20cm longer than a first-gen M-Class, so it appears that it would have had a slightly generous fit. As a showroom cover, it was not designed for outdoor use in that it does not have grommets or elastic to hold it securely in the wind (though the fabric itself is akin to a raincoat and appears to be water-resistant, and possibly fully water-repellent (could easily be ScotchGuarded too).

I do not own an M-Class so it's never been used; the only other time it saw the light of day was to attempt to put it on a Nissan Pathfinder but fortunately did not fit. So the color is like-new and has no fading. It does have a faint maroon smudge on the driver's side which may be cleanable but I didn't want to tamper with it (it's barely visible in photos). It also picked up a few traces of dust from the photo shoot to sell this item on eBay so it's not still-in-package new but I've kept it as new and untainted as I could.

I'm including a Mercedes-Benz full-line...
