2003 Mercedes-Benz CLK-500 - **** MECHANICS SPECIAL **** - Please read everything before bidding. This vehicle is being sold at auction AS IS, non-refundable.
First, we are a Security and Towing company. This vehicle was an impound that was never paid for. We legally obtained the title and are selling the vehicle. The vehicle sat for a long period of time waiting for some minor repairs to be done. A window was not working and the vehicle was not covered. Over time, the inside did get some water inside and the interior was damaged (SEE PICS).
The vehicle had a new (refurbed) battery installed two weeks ago. Some unknown issue is draining the battery and it has to be jump started. The vehicle does run well and has been driven lightly within the past month. The tires are dry rotted and the third brake light is missing out of the trunk. I listed the mileage at 150k - to the best of my knowledge, it was close to that OR UNDER. I will update the mileage ASAP. Once started, the vehicle WILL shift into gear and drive. It is unknown which power options in the vehicle work and which do not. With the right knowledge, TLC and a little money, this could be a nice car for someone. At this time, I have no further information about the vehicle. It is being auctioned (private sale). The buyer will be responsible for payment, shipping and deposit. The buyer needs to also understand that this vehicle needs work before being driven on the street, is being sold AS IS with a clean title.
