Assistant District Attorney Mark Palladino said he expects the panel to indict Hasim Smith, 22, of Eltingville, during the present four-week grand jury term, which ends Aug. Smith is currently charged with felony counts of leaving an incident scene involving death and serious injury and misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment, fleeing a police officer, resisting arrest and unlicensed vehicle registration.
