Man charged with illegal possession - Towanda Daily Review
A Towanda man has been sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Tim Clark to answer a charge of possession of an illegal substance. According to information filed in Clark's office, Bradlee Scott Elliott, 21, has also been charged by Towanda police with illegally transferring a license plate from one vehicle to another vehicle. Officer Corey McLinko reported being on patrol in Towanda around 9:30 p. m. on March 3 when he observed a Chevrolet Lumina traveling north on Merrill Parkway. While speaking with Elliott, McLinko said he observed a small plastic baggy containing a green leafy substance in the back of the Lumina. McLinko said Elliott gave him permission to take possession of the baggy. A Towanda man was cited by borough police recently on a charge of theft by unlawful taking. According to information filed with Magisterial District Judge Tim Clark, Christopher S. Pozzi, 34, has also been charged with receiving stolen property, and public drunkenness. Miller provided the police with a description of the man who had stolen his bicycle, and Edsell and another officer located a suspect matching the description a short time later, walking south on the side.
