The ride isn't terrible, but you do get the bounciness that comes with short-wheelbase cars. Copy chief Emiliana Sandoval said driving the Note at highway speeds was "like sitting on a bouncy ball. But overall, the Note isn't bad for everyday commuting. I can hop in, start the car, and not long after begin streaming my playlists. After months of driving the Versa Note, I'm starting to detect the faintest signs of decent handling characteristics. The chassis must be at least competent if Nissan's engineers were able to massage it into the Note NISMO hot hatch. That Japan-only car does get some chassis reinforcement and a unique suspension, however—not to mention stickier Bridgestone Potenza rubber.
