Porsche Cayenne e-Hybrid Coming in 2014. 15 Mile Range - InsideEVs
The Cayenne e-Hybrid plug-in will basically have the same set-up, internal combustion engine as the Cayenne Hybrid on the road today, but with and upgraded onboard lithium battery and electric motor output. In a report by Motor Trend they feel the Porsche’s electric motor will be upgraded to produce around 95 to 100 horsepower, which will enable the SUV to be driven without assistance from the V-6 engine. The Porsche engineer Motor Trend spoke with would not say exaclty how much electric-only range the Cayenne will have, but ballpark estimates put the range above/about 15 miles. Source: insideevs.com
