Inspired by the Bentley Mulsanne Speed, the new handset is billed as combining new materials and unique finishes. The Signature for Bentley also comes with polished stainless steel side and tactile knurled finishes that bring to mind the Bentley control knobs, while the keypad is finished in sapphire crystal, with each key sitting on a ruby. Founded in 1998, Vertu was solely owned by the Finnish mobile-phone manufacturer Nokia until 2012 June when Nokia sold 90 per cent of the company's equity share to private group EQT VI.
