Toyota's CJ Greaves Sweeps Pro 2WD, Pro 4WD at TORC Chicagoland - Off-Road.com (blog)

The defending PRO 2WD champion opened up the weekend by winning Thursday night’s PRO 2WD event where he earned his third win in the class’ first four races this season. When Thursday night’s PRO 4WD began, it was CJ’s father and reigning PRO 4WD champ Johnny Greaves who led the field to the green. Shortly afterward, Johnny went to the pits with a shock problem and would eventually place fifth while CJ went on to earn his second consecutive PRO 4WD victory on the season. Friday night’s contests once again opened up with a CJ PRO 2WD victory as he used patience not normally found in a 20-year-old to climb up from the fourth position, waiting for an opening and quickly taking advantage to eventually take the lead... Johnny would take the lead shortly after the green flag and held the point position through the midway point of the race, while CJ worked his way up into second. Father and son went hard against one another, racing side by side for the lead, but after an over rotation by Johnny, CJ took a lead he would never relinquish. The victory gave CJ his third consecutive PRO 4WD victory and the PRO 4WD championship lead for the first time. Source: www.off-road.com
