Chocolatier to teach class to kids in Katy - Chron.com

No matter the age, attending "chocolate class" sounds delicious and fun. This summer, kids can do just that at Araya Artisan Chocolate. Children will learn about the history of chocolate and how it is made. They will try different varieties and learn the essential techniques of tempering and molding chocolate. The class will use premium Venezuelan chocolate as well as nuts, dried fruits, spices, candies and sprinkles. The class is conducted by Stefano Zullian, owner and chocolatier of Araya Artisan Chocolate. 7, 13 and 20 from 1-3 p. m. at Araya Chocolate.
