According to an arrest affidavit, officers activated their high beams to illuminate the Nissan sedan before approaching and noticed a male passenger and a woman in the driver’s seat. “When he got closer to the Nissan sedan, the driver immediately began to drive toward (the arresting officer) with no headlights on,” the affidavit stated. Police lost sight of the Nissan for a short time, but officers located it after discovering “the Nissan had collided with a parked 2006 Toyota Tacoma with sufficient force to cause it to jump the curb.
