As its name implies, the Mustang Apollo Edition is loosely inspired by NASA's Apollo Program. It stands out from the 2015 Mustang on which it is based thanks to a prominent carbon fiber splitter up front, a large wing out back, an air diffuser, 21-inch Forgiato alloy wheels and orange LED underbody lighting that symbolizes atmospheric... The space travel-inspired treatment continues in the cabin with logos embroidered in the seat backs and the floor mats, white contrast stitching on the seats and a model-specific instrument cluster. The Apollo Edition packs a tuned Mustang GT-sourced 5. 0-liter V8 engine that makes 627 horsepower and 540 lb-ft. Performance specifications have not been published, but Ford has added a sport-tuned suspension and Brembo brakes to help the driver make most of the eight-cylinder's power.
