Drunken driver crashes into car, sends 4 to hospital, police say - NJ.com
ABERDEEN — A Sayreville man was charged with DWI and assault by auto in connection with a three-vehicle crash that sent four to the hospital on Saturday. Police say Pawel Bialoglowy, 28, was driving his 2005 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck at around 10:35 p. m. northbound on Highway 35 when he hit a 2006 Volkswagen stopped at a traffic light near the intersection of County Road. Due to the force of the impact, the Volkswagen then crashed into a 2004 Ford Explorer, Aberdeen police Chief John Powers said in a news release. The drivers of the Volkswagen and Ford Explorer — only identified as a 38-year-old and 29-year-old, respectively — were taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune and treated for injuries to the head, neck and back, Powers said. Two juvenile passengers in the Volkswagen were taken to Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel and were treated for similar injuries, Powers said. He was, however, charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and assault by auto. Matthew Lloyd of the Aberdeen police Traffic Safety Unit. Source: www.nj.com
