A pedestrian remains in a serious but stable condition following a hit and run incident in Haslemere . The pedestrian, a man in his 30s, was hit in Critchmere Lane on Thursday, August 13 and taken to St George’s Hospital, Tooting. A man in his 40s has been arrested and released on bail on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of an accident, driving without due care and attention, providing a positive breath test and driving while unfit through drink or drugs.
