Mojave Road - 2013 Baja HID Excursion - Four Wheeler Magazine
If you had to pick one place in the world to hit the dirt, where would it be. Well, that’s a no brainer for us: It would definitely have to be Baja. There’s really nothing quite like crossing the U. S. /Mexico border into the natural habitat of high-speed Trophy Trucks and racing legends. It truly is a nonstop adrenaline rush every time we go down, and we’re there at least a handful of times a year. Sure we’ve heard all the exaggerations and misconceptions about the dangers of Baja from people who’ve never feasted on delicious tacos al Pastor on the side of the road in Ensenada while taking in the majestic view of Todos Los Santos Bay. Yet, we meet the friendliest of people while visiting Baja. The only thing we’ve ever seen in Baja is a great time with great friends, and of course, gnarly terrain. We went along for the ride on yet another BajaHID Excursion through some of the coolest sections of race course in Baja. Our trip suffered quite a few hang ups, from multiple trail repairs to flat tires, and even a long ride on the tow strap for one of the trucks in our group. When we heard there was a new BajaHID Excursion planned for October ’13, we jumped onboard for our dose of fun in the desert almost immediately. Source: www.fourwheeler.com
