Now, an official press release has been issued from National Electric Vehicle Sweden, which confirmed the reopening of Saab’s production line in Trollhättan with a statement from NEVS’s president, Mattias Bergman. According to those past rumors and reports, Saab and NEVS were working on two 9-3 sedans to mark the Saab’s revival into the automotive playground, one gas, and one with an alternative electric powerttrain. “I am pleased that today we have assembled our first car to verify all the production processes here in Trollhättan. I have owned many Saabs personally from an early two stroke Sonett through 900’s and 9000’s to a late 93.
