Russell Crowe was hot on the trail of a mystery while filming The Nice Guys in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Russell's co-star Ryan Gosling, 34, was also seen on the 1970's set film, nursing his character's arm injury in a cast while smoking a cigarette. It wasn't an entirely low-key day of filming for Ryan, who at one point engaged in an animated conversation with a few crew members. Ryan and Russell have been filming the upcoming crime mystery film since the fall, which follows a private eye, whose investigation into the suicide of an adult film star unearths a conspiracy. Ryan's directorial debut, Lost River, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014, and the movie - which co-starred Eva - will get a DVD/Blu-Ray release in the spring of 2015. .
