GMC Canyon and Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 concept at 2015 Twin Cities Auto Show - Examiner.com
Even now, dealer lots are selling Canyons in an average of 17 days, according to GMC. The Canyon was named Best of the Best Truck of 2015 by Autoweek. Chevy Colorado was honored as Motor Trend’s Truck of the Year. Promising more room, powerfully efficient engines, more refined interiors and standard features unheard of in this niche only a few years ago, the Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon continue to impress. At the 2015 Twin Cities Auto Show, the GMC Canyon was the official Featured Vehicle of the event. Though these Z71 4x4s were tempting, we would have liked to see the Canyon Nightfall Edition, a newly announced model featuring black body accents and a color-coated grill. The Chevrolet Colorado, with its slightly more sporty exterior, brought with it the 2015 Colorado ZR2 concept. The trail-ready ZR2 featured 18” beadlock wheels with a chassis tuned for extreme off-road capability. Fender flares accented the big 33” tires with a spare tire propped in the bed. More importantly, however, is the ZR2 had the highly anticipated big-displacement 2. 8 liter Duramax diesel 4-cylinder. Source: www.examiner.com
