, MI – A 30-year-old Albion woman had minor injuries after a crash involving a pickup truck and a semitrailer Sunday morning on I-94 just north of Albion. The woman was heading east near the 121 mile marker in a 1999 GMC Sierra that was running out of fuel and beginning to slow in the passing lane, according to an emailed news release from the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office. A 2012 Mack semitrailer was behind her and attempted to pass the pickup in the right lane. The tractor-trailer struck the side of the GMC, the sheriff's office reported. The semitrailer driver, 38, of Crown Point, Indiana, was not hurt, according to the sheriff's office. At the time of the crash, she seemed to be suffering from a medical condition, the sheriff's office reported without specifying. Source: www.mlive.com
