You may not like the iPhone, but many people do and that is why Buick and GMC are accommodating iPhone owners. You’ll notice Apple CarPlay is coming out before Android Auto. You may not like the iPhone, but Apple has a 42% share of the US market. Being a fan of iPhone has nothing to do with it. To ignore either the iOS or the Android market would be foolish. Many have been talking about the end of Apple for the last 15 years, yet here they still are. GM’s own media publications have listed Apple before Android. There are some of the staff who are pro Apple, but the bias is not coming from them this time.
