Mid-size pickups have long been the rage for commercial, personal and even military transportation in Africa, Asia, Central America and South America. Many of those mid-size foreign pickups have been made by the same companies that stopped selling them in America — Chrysler (now Fiat Chrysler Automobiles), Ford and General Motors. Why not us. Now, thanks to the Chevrolet and GMC divisions of General Motors, I can give those folks an answer: The more fuel-efficient, work-efficient and thus more-profitable-for-you 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon mid-size pickups are here. And unlike the Tacoma and Frontier pickups that Toyota and Nissan seem to produce as afterthoughts, the new Colorado and Canyon — both of which I drove here — are designed and engineered to take you and your commercial and personal transportation... It goes like this: American manufacturers kept producing mid-size pickups in foreign markets because “those people” wanted them. Source: www.washingtonpost.com
