Homicide investigation leads to chop shop - Albuquerque Journal
Investigators said they found stolen vehicles at McComas’ home on the 2300 block of 4th St. NW, and at a property on the 1900 block of 5th St. NW, according to the complaint. The vehicles included a Ford truck, GM van, Ford F550 dump truck, Red Mercury SUV and a white box style trailer. Deputies said McComas told them he pays people who steal cars $100 to $200 for the vehicle and then sells the parts. Investigators didn’t say Saturday which homicide case they were investigating that led to McComas, but the complaint does state that stolen vehicles were used during a homicide.
