Ford GT to cost $400000 - Detroit Free Press
The Ford GT supercar will cost about $400,000 when it goes on sale in the second half of 2016. And the automaker will make only about 250 a year, Dave Pericak, director of Ford Performance, confirmed at the Geneva auto show. Ford showed the Ford GT concept at the North American International Auto Show and announced it would go into production next year. The Ford GT has a 3. 5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that will generate at least 600 horsepower. The automaker has said it will introduce 12 performance vehicles by 2020. So far it has shown the GT, Mustang Shelby GT350 and GT350R, Fiesta ST, Focus ST, Focus RS and F-150 Raptor pickup. Source: www.freep.com
