18-year-old Corpus Christi man dies in head-on collision near Cotulla - Corpus Christi Caller-Times

Wednesday in a head-on collision near Cotulla, Texas Department of Public Safety officials said. Joshua Abel Salazar, a laborer who was driving a 2009 Ford F-350 pickup, died at the scene on Farm-to-Market Road 624 near mile post 555 in La Salle County, according to the report. Salazar and the other driver, Jorge Zuniga-Guillem, a 65-year-old gate guard of Rio Grande City, were pronounced dead about 3 p. m. by Justice of the Peace George Trigo, of La Salle County. Salazar was driving the pickup west and swerved into the eastbound lane on a curve of the two-way roadway, according to the report.
