Maui Crime Log: 15 Burglaries, 19 Vehicle Thefts - Maui Now
Maui police responded to 15 burglaries, 19 vehicle thefts, and 22 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period, between Aug. Of the 19 vehicle thefts, 6 vehicles have since been recovered. The greatest number of incidents was in K?hei where six incidents were reported. Burglary incidents dropped to 15 compared to 23 reported the week before. The greatest number of burglaries were reported in K?hei where five incidents occurred. Vehicle break-ins remained high at 22 for the week, down two from the 24 incidents reported the week before.
