Mitchell ACT revamps awards event into Patron Appreciation Night - Daily Republic
ACT Managing Director Megan Reimnitz said event organizers wanted to take the ACT's annual awards ceremony, which hands out accolades for the actors, directors and crews who work on the ACT shows throughout the season. "It never lived up to what it truly was, which was honoring the past season which people worked so hard to put on," Reimnitz said. To change that, Reimnitz said event organizers developed Patron Appreciation Night, which will not only honor the past season's plays, directors, actors and volunteers, it will include food, wine, auctions, raffle prizes and snippets of... Reimnitz added that people can buy ACT memberships that night. Reimnitz is excited about the silent auction offerings, which she said will include a variety of big and small items, including four Disney World passes, which grant access to all the parks for an entire day. The revamped Patron Appreciation Night is part of the ACT's ongoing efforts to expand its offerings and activities, an endeavor started about a year ago when Reimnitz joined the ACT staff.
