Before Installing the alternator please read the instruction and suggestions
1) Diesel has glow plug relay if that relay stays on all the time it will burn the alternator
2) Some Models Require a small modification when installing a large case alternator. You need to put washers under the alternator for clearance between bottom of the alternator and top of the bracket to keep the alternator a little high ( between engine alternator bracket on 7.3 and 6.0 )
3) Before installing the belt turn the pulley with your hand....
