Saxton, 57, was found shot in the head in a field in a remote part of Yazoo County. Searchers scoured the area for Saxton and his wrecker, a white Ford F550 with his business' name on the side. A landowner in the area of Dale and Wildwood roads knew that Saxton had gone missing, and when he saw Saxton's truck on his property, he called authorities. Saxton's body was found in high grass near the house by investigators who arrived on the scene following the landowner's call.
