Ford Ranger sales pick up speed - The Malaysian Insider

Ford's versatile pick-up truck Ranger – its best-selling nameplate in Malaysia – continued to enjoy strong demand in July with retail sales hitting 699 units, marking its third consecutive month of sales gain. Year-to-date, the Ranger's sales have risen 22% to 5,520 units, according to Ford Motor Company's Malaysia and Asia Pacific emerging markets managing director David Westerman in a statement today. The US-based car company has increased the Ranger stock for dealerships nationwide to meet with market demands. Ford also announced that its July retail sales have reached 975 units in Malaysia.
