Tulare woman dies in Delano area crash - Visalia Times-Delta
Maricela Lopez Contreras, 49, was ejected from the vehicle she was in after the crash at Stradley Avenue and Schuster Road. Two occupants in the same vehicle, Yolanda Regalado Martinez, 44, and Victor Manuel, 27, both from Tulare, were injured and transported to Delano Regional Medical Center. Regalado Martinez, the driver, and Manuel, also a passenger, complained of pain and their injuries were deemed moderate. According to the California Highway Patrol, Regalado Martinez, driving a 2006 Nissan Morano, failed to clear traffic when making a turn from Stradley onto Schuster, traveling into the path of 2001 Ford F150, driven by 48-year-old Francisco Vasquez. Vasquez and passenger, 44-year-old Esperanza Vasquez, suffered minor injuries. The CHP said Lopez Contreras, Regalado Martinez and Manuel were wearing seat belts as well.
