Man killed in head-on crash had been drinking - The San Diego Union-Tribune
A 53-year-old man who had been drinking and refused offers by his friends to drive him home died in a head-on crash along state Route 79 east of Lake Henshaw Saturday evening, authorities said. The county Medical Examiner's office identified the man as Eleazar Cortez Lozano. Lozano was driving north on Route 79 in his 1973 Ford F250 pickup truck when he lost control of the truck on a left-hand curve about two miles north of state Route 76 in Warner Springs around 6:10 p. m. , authorities said. The CHP earlier said Lozano was from Poway, but the Medical Examiner's Office said his residence couldn't be determined. Source: www.sandiegouniontribune.com
