This truck was built with the intention of being a fully capable off-road rig that can be driven everyday to work. There was no expense spared when the process began. Driving this truck down the road, you'd only be able to notice you're riding on 40" tires by listening to the hum.Starting with the turbocharged 6.0 power stroke diesel engine that has been heavily modified. The block and cylinder heads have been studded utilizing ARP hardware, known to be the best in the automotive and off-road racing industry. The factory oil cooler was upgraded with a billet, remote mount kit to help keep the oil cool and the problematic factory unit in the dumpster where it belongs. The performance injectors are fed by an Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump with braided stainless fuel lines and AN hardware through a regulated return fuel system and monitored by an autometer cobalt in cab fuel pressure gauge. The turbocharger breathes clean air through an AFE intake and feeds the engine with performance charge air cooler pipes. The exhaust consists of a 4" stainless turbo back kit with muffler to keep quiet on those long trips to the back country. Engine tuning was conducted utilizing an SCT programmer with Quicktricks custom tuning by Vivian. The vitals of the truck are monitored with a 4 gauge A pillar mount with Autometer Cobalt fuel pressure, exhaust gas temperature, transmission temperature and boost pressure gauges. The ZF-6 transmission shifts smooth and strong with the assistance of a short shifter and south bend performance clutch rated to hold the added power. The factory suspension was replaced with a Donahoe Racing Suspension 4.5" performance kit. This is the real deal that incorporates the full radius arms crossmember to keep the axle alignment true and the driver in full control of the truck on or off the road.
