Cops: Woman Dies After Illegal U-Turn Crash Near Jones Beach - Patch.com
Investigators found that a Ford F-250 pickup truck tried to make an illegal U-turn into the left lanes when it struck a Jeep Cherokee, officials said. Her husband, Douglas Cutrone, 42, was also rushed to NUMC for treatment of a fractured hip, police said. The driver of the truck, Eugenio Taveras-Galindo, 35, of Westbury, and his four passengers were treated at NUMC for minor injuries, cops said. Police are asking anyone with information about the accident to call State Police Investigators in Valley Stream at 516-561-8492. The investigation is ongoing. Source: patch.com
