Ford adds upscale Limited back to F-150 lineup - Detroit Free Press

Ford is bringing back the top-of-the-line Limited trim level of the F-150 for the 2016 model year. The Limited, with more standard features, unique touches, soft Mojave leather and lots of bling, will be the most expensive pickup in the Ford lineup. Pricing has not been released, but the positioning of the Limited means a fully loaded pickup should easily top $60,000. Related : 5 stars: Aluminum Ford F-150 gets top score for safety. The Limited brings to six the number of trim levels offered: the XL, XLT and Lariat as well as the higher-end King Ranch and Platinum. Ford did not have a Limited for the 2014 model year -- the last year of the outgoing truck, nor for the 2015 model year which was the debut of a new generation with an aluminum body. The truck will go on sale this winter, Ford has seen sales falloff this year as it builds inventory after switching to the new-generation truck. Source: www.freep.com
