UPDATE (7/30 at 1:20 p. m. ):. West Virginia State Police have released the name of the man killed in the two-vehicle accident on Route 218 near Farmington Wednesday afternoon. UPDATE (7/29 at 5:15 p. m. ):. The two-vehicle accident on Route 218/Jamison Road north of Farmington killed one man Wednesday afternoon, according to West Virginia State Police. EMS personnel immediately began treating him for critical injuries while fire department personnel began extricating, according to police. After a preliminary investigation, police determined that a 2003 Ford F-350 was traveling west when the Suzuki, traveling east, went left of center heading into oncoming traffic. The driver of the Ford, Leonard Ammons, 67, of Fairview, swerved to the left to avoid hitting the Suzuki in his lane, and the driver of the Suzuki swerved right, causing the two vehicles to collide. West Virginia State Police will continue investigating the accident. A Suzuki Vitara collided with a Ford F-350.
