The new, universal 5 bolt hole sending unit is for use with most 1950-1977 AMC and Pre-1986 Ford & Mopar Car Fuel Gauges.
The ohm rating of this sending unit is 73 ohm - 10 ohm (73 ohm is empty, 10 ohm is full)
Includes five special o-ring bolts and mounting gasket.
The sending unit mounts with five mounting screws. It works on fuel tanks from 6 to 24 inches deep by cutting to length using the instructions included. Since fuel tank senders only read resistance to ground they work on all 6-24 volt systems positive or negative ground. They do not have a fuel pickup tube built into them as some original senders may have. Made with a high quality ceramic board rheostat.
There are always exceptions. Please check double check your ohm rating before ordering. The resistance of your fuel sender should match that of your gauge. We do have other sending units available.
