Classic cars take their place at Psychobilly Swap Meet - Chron.com

For most car lovers, the idea of a swap meet brings to mind early mornings and varied car parts strewn along the ground at an outdoor venue. This past Sunday in Houston, the 3rd annual Psychobilly Swap Meet took place at the Etro Lounge on Westheimer, but classic cars were taking their place for the first time at the event. Originally conceived by the local pinup model and tattooed beauty known as "Timebomb Tina", the event started as a bit of a pinup swap meet, for women to share and exchange their punk rock and pinup style clothing and accessories. Adding in the element of a small car show to the day, the third edition of the gathering showed how the Psychobilly Swap Meet has already quickly grown into much more. The car lot provided as much range with gorgeous vintage 1950s era Chevys, rat rods and hot rods, to a one-of-a-kind racing gasser and a flawless classic Cadillac. My own 1960 F100 made an appearance, alongside other trucks, like a gorgeous 1940s-era Dodge that was for sale, as well as a couple other classic Ford and Chevy pickups. Source: www.chron.com
