Officers with the Office of Field Operations — a division of U. S. Customs and Border Protection — stopped a 41-year-old man driving a 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, according to federal court records. During secondary inspection, a K-9 alerted to the rear passenger area of the Explorer. “Twenty-seven packages wrapped in cellophane and black tape were discovered hidden a non-factory compartment underneath the rear passenger seats,” according to federal court records. Federal Magistrate Judge Ignacio Torteya charged Lozoya with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. Source: www.valleycentral.com
