HEI ignition technology provides greater spark with improved starting and throttle response! Fits 1969-1997 small block Ford 351W Windsor engines.
For non-computer controlled carbureted applications. This is a brand new unit with completely new parts. Features a CNC machined billet aluminum housing and a hardened chromoly steel gear.
Brass terminal blue polymer cap with a built in 30,000 volt coil. Also built in is a 7,000 RPM performance 4-pin ignition module.
Timing curve is handled by centrifugal mechanical advance plus an adjustable vacuum advance canister. Distributor installation is simple with just 2 electrical spade connections under the end of the coil cover. One wire for full 12 volt switched power and the other
can be used to connect an electronic tachometer. Greatly simplifies underhood wiring by eliminating any factory ballast resistors, resistance wires, or Duraspark /
ECU / computer control boxes. Another bonus is that nearly all parts are readily available and will interchange with the GM HEIs: cap, rotor, coil, pickup, module,
vacuum canister, etc.
