Families celebrate Father's Day at Pismo Beach car show - Lompoc Record

Father, son bonding comes in many forms — some enjoy fishing, others hunting or sports, and some like to discuss, work on, or build cars. While the 30th annual Mothers Polish Classic at Pismo Beach car show did not offer duck hunting, tuna fishing, or football opportunities, it did have around 1,000 custom, classic and antique cars, trucks and hot rods displayed throughout the beach... For the more hands-on car enthusiasts the show, which continues today, offered many vehicle vendors, auto parts and accessories, engines, and toy cars. John Mitchell drove his 1957 Ford Fairlane — a vehicle he bought at the show six years ago — from Orange County to be in the show.
