This is an original set of rare Edmunds heads that fit 48 to 51 Lincoln 337 V8 flathead engines. These heads had been sitting on a shelf in an old hot rodders garage since the 70s, they are dirty with lots of patina.I didn't clean them, I didn't want to mess with the way they look, some people want the as found look. I did want to make sure they are usable heads and not just wall hangers. I chased the spark plugs heads with a good 14mm plug tap, I had to helicoil one of the plug holes. I also cut the gasket surface about 8 thousandths on my head machine. The gasket surfaces are flat where it counts, there is still some pitting in areas that are not contacted by the gasket, other ares are discolored by corrosion that goes into the aluminum a bit deeper than I surfaced, should still seal without a problem. I don't think theres any issues with running these heads, especially with the superior gasket sealers that are available today. Of course they would look great hanging on a wall in a collection also.
