Hot rides abound at Cruise Cle Elum - Daily Record

From hot rods boasting flame paint jobs to classic Mustangs and Camaros to a Rolls Royce limo, the 19th annual Cruise Cle Elum car show served up something for almost everyone Saturday. The event, sponsored by the Upper Kittitas County Rotary, drew 86 registered automobiles and trucks, plus 10 entries in the motorcycle division. It was the first year with judged motorcycle entries. If the number of participants was lower than last year when the event had 110 registrations, Rotary’s Jodi Larsen wasn’t complaining. Ewers bought the vehicle in 1988 after seeing it listed in the Little Nickel advertiser on the West Side. It was ‘the little puppy’ that I had to take home. She spent years — and more money than she is willing to talk about — fixing it up. “A lot of mac and cheese and hot dogs and neighbors feeding me,” she laughed. Source: www.dailyrecordnews.com
