But now, a new report said that the Moto X Play is headed to the U. S. , following the footsteps of the U. K. , Germany and Canada. , the Moto X Play will reportedly be offered by Verizon under the brand name “Motorola DROID Maxx 2. ” The DROID branded smartphones from Verizon usually carry phenomenal battery unit. For instance, the first-generation Motorola DROID Maxx comes with a huge 3,500 mAh battery, while reportedly providing up to 48 hours of battery life. Speaking of Moto X Play, the handset houses a solid 3,630 mAh cell and therefore, it is easy to assume that the upcoming refreshed version of DROID device will be called the DROID Maxx 2, Phone Arena reported. Moving on to the key Moto X Play specifications, the handset is expected to sport a huge 5. 5-inch display, packed with 1,080 x 1,920 pixels screen resolution.
