UPDATE: Man charged in fatal hit-and-run at 3rd Street and Oakland in KCK - KSHB
- UPDATE, 9/4: Lucious R. Moore, 33, of Kansas City, Kan. , has been charged in the fatal hit-and-run that happened on Monday, Sept. UPDATE, 9/3: Authorities said they found the suspect vehicle overnight in KCK and also have a person of interest in custody. , Police Department has released the identity of the man killed in a fatal hit-and-run on September 1. Darrin Smith, 24, was killed at 3rd Street and Oakland. KCK police also released information about a vehicle that's being sought in connection to the incident. Police describe the vehicle as a light blue, clear coat metallic Ford Crown Victoria. The model is between 2000-2006. Officers say the vehicle has damage to the front-end driver side of the vehicle. The car also is missing the side view mirror on the driver's side. They said the suspect's car has front-end damage and damage to the windshield. KCK police have asked KCPD officers to keep an eye out. Police are working to find any witnesses to this deadly hit-and-run.
