According to the United States Department of Agriculture, National Agricultural Statistics Service July 20 report, topsoil moisture supplies in Minnesota were rated at 87 percent adequate and 10 percent surplus. Subsoil moisture supplies were rated at 89 percent adequate and 6 percent surplus. Minnesota’s corn condition rated 86 percent good to excellent and the soybean crop was rated 79 percent good to excellent. Source: www.southernminn.com
