New high quality construction Dodge Ram 4X4 1500 automatic transmission front drive shaft for sale, 2002-2010. Fits automatic transmission Dodge Ram 4X4 1500 WITHOUT Mega Cab. This replacement shaft uses "old school" Spicer u-joints at both ends. It will do away with the light duty round cv joint at transfer case that goes bad. Not recommended for altered chassis heights. Contact us if you have raised your vehicle.Our shaft will install just like the factory shaft does. You will reuse the 4 bolts at the axle end and remove the rubber boot from your old shaft at the top and place on our shaft before you install. A regular u-joint is installed at the top (by the transfer case end) to get rid of the high speed cv joint on the factory style shaft that always goes bad. The shaft is balanced and ready to install. This is a nice shaft with replaceable & grease able u-joints. High speed balanced for a comfortable ride, painted and ready to install out of the box! Go with "old school" technology instead of the light duty parts Dodge used on these vehicles from the factory.
***Important- our shaft is to be used only on trucks that have NOT been lifted to ride higher than the factory specifications. If your truck is lifted call us immediately and let us know how much lift, and a different style shaft can be custom built for your application.
