The York County man who was drunk and speeding when he crashed his Chevrolet Camaro into a tree was sentenced on Wednesday for the crash that killed his brother. Hartless , 49, was sentenced to 8½ to 17 years in state prison for the crash that killed Timothy A. Hartless, 51, on Dec. Hartless had pleaded guilty to charges of homicide by vehicle while DUI, homicide by vehicle, DUI, reckless driving, accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle, and three counts of recklessly endangering another person. Police were first called to the 2500 block of South George Street in York Township around 6:11 p. m. on the day of the incident after receiving reports of a black 1988 Chevrolet Camaro hitting a Pontiac Sunfire and fleeing the scene. But within two minutes, police were called to another crash in the 200 block of Reynolds Mill Road, where they found that the black Camaro had gone off the road and hit a tree.
